Terms and Conditions for Safari with Africa Barefoot Safaris
1. Booking and Payment:
- A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
- Full payment is due 50days before the start of the safari.
- Payments can be made via Bank Transfer
2. Cancellation and Refunds:
1. Cancellation Deadline: Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least 60 days
before the trip start date.
2. **Refund Schedule:
- If cancelled before 90 days from the trip start date, 80% refund will be provided.
- If cancelled before 60 days from the trip start date, a 20% refund of the total trip cost will be
provided.
- If cancelled within 30 days from the trip start date, no refund will be provided.
Please note that the deposit amount specified in the payment terms section is non-refundable
and will not be included in the refund calculation.
Clients are encouraged to notify us of cancellations as soon as possible to facilitate timely
processing and to understand that refunds are subject to the schedule outlined above.
Refund will be process within 10 - 15 business to the bank account a day after receiving a cancellation email.
3. Itinerary Changes:
- The safari itinerary may be subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as
weather,, or other factors beyond our control.
4. Travel Insurance:
- We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including
coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
5. Health and Safety:
- All participants must be in good physical condition and able to comply with safety
requirements and guidelines provided by the safari guides.
- You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions or dietary restrictions in advance.
6. Passport and Visa:
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport and obtain the necessary visas
for your travel.
7. Liability and Release:
- Participating in a safari involves inherent risks. Africa Barefoot Safaris is not liable for any
injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the safari.
- By participating in the safari, you acknowledge and assume these risks.
8. Baggage and Personal Property:
- You are responsible for your personal belongings and luggage. We recommend that you
keep valuables with you at all times.
9. Photography and Media:
Africa Barefoot Safaris may use photographs or videos taken during the safari for
promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the safari.
10. Code of Conduct:
- Respect wildlife and their natural habitats. Follow ethical wildlife viewing guidelines and the
instructions of safari guides.
- Observe local customs and traditions with sensitivity.
11. Force Majeure:
Africa Barefoot Safaris is not responsible for delays, alterations, or cancellations caused by
events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, civil unrest, or government actions).
